A MAN has suffered life-threatening injuries and has been taken to hospital following a collision in Bedworth this morning.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called by the fire service at 9.50am, where they found a car that had been involved in a collision and was on fire on Smorrall Lane, Bedworth.
One ambulance, two paramedic officers, and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Upon arrival we found a man who was the driver of the car. He was extricated from the vehicle by the fire service.
“Once extricated, ambulance staff immediately assessed the man and administered advanced trauma care to him.
“He was conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital by land ambulance for further treatment.”
