Coventry youngster to shave hair to create wig for young cancer patients

A KIND-HEARTED Coventry youngster who has been growing his hair since lockdown will soon be shaving it off to create a wig for a child who has lost all theirs through cancer.

Jaxon Hatt will be donating his hair to the Little Princess Trust, which provides a free, real hair wig to young cancer patients to help restore their confidence and identity.

The eight-year-old is hoping to raise £550 through a GoFundMe page, the same amount the Trust would need to turn his hair into a wig.

He has raised £275 so far.

The youngster said: “I really want to do this because I want to give other little children my hair who haven’t got any- I want them to be happy again.”

“These little children need my hair much more than me.”
