PLANS to build 122 affordable homes on the site of the former Bedworth Bowling and Rugby club have been greenlit by the borough council.
The bowling greens were last used in 2020, while the rugby club left the site three years earlier when it moved to Nicholas Chamberlaine School.
As well as carrying out the build on the 7.4-acre site, developers Countryside Partnerships will be investing over £2.5million for local services.
This includes £1.25million for floodlights and a new clubhouse for Bedworth Rugby Club at Nicholas Chamberlaine School as well as over £500,000 for leisure and parks and around £350,000 for education.
