TEAM Enable – MI Racing – McCann enjoyed triple cyclo-cross success in a busy week of action across a variety of events.
The Coventry-based team saw Nick Popham finish third with Geoff Giddings further back in 43rd in the veterans 50-plus age category in the Notts and Derby Cyclo-cross League.
And in round 10 of the West Midlands Cyclo-cross League, Team Enable secured a one-two-three finish in the 50-plus category.
Darren Atkins claimed the race win with Nick Whitley second and Popham third with Andy Jackson further back in 52nd and Alan Buxcey 59th.
In the 40-plus age category, Colin Miller placed fifth while in the senior race Thomas Bradley crossed the line in 18th.
And in the youth category race, Jefferson Tear-Verweij continued his fine form with another superb victory.
In the veterans 60-plus race, Pete Busby finished third with Tim Stowe 11th as the latter returned from a broken shoulder injury.
And in the women’s 40 to 49 age category, Lynsey Whitley finished 10th.
Lastly, in the Central Cyclo-cross League, Lindsay Newman won the women’s 50-plus age category race with Carl Sturgeon third in the men’s race.
