A MAN has been charged after an attempted robbery in Coventry.
Arturs Seilis, 19, was arrested on Monday, January 8 and charged with attempted robbery and possession of an offensive weapon.
This comes after a man was assaulted in Walsgrave Road, with police spotting the incident while on patrol.
Seilis was arrested a short time later and enquiries are ongoing to find a second suspect who made off.
He was charged and remanded overnight and will appear before Coventry magistrates today.
