DISCOUNT retailer B&M has announced it will be opening a new store in Cathedral Lanes Shopping Centre, creating 35 new jobs.
The discount retailer has taken possession of the old Wilko store which will be refurbished before opening its doors at 8am on Friday, February 2.
They have chosen the team at Coventry Foodbank to officially unveil the new B&M store in recognition of the charity’s work to help those in need in the city.
The store manager from B&M said: “We’re feeling extremely positive about the creation of more jobs for local people, and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.
“Coventry Foodbank really stood out for us, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done.
“We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.”
