A MAN has been arrested following a racially aggravated incident during the match between Sheffield Wednesday and Coventry City on Saturday.

The Sky Blues have said an alleged racial gesture was made towards their midfielder Kasey Palmer at Hillsborough during last weekend’s Championship clash.

South Yorkshire Police said they are continuing to work closely with Sheffield Wednesday and Coventry City to investigate the public order offence.

The man has since been released on police bail.
