Talking therapy sessions bound for Coventry

Coventry Editorial 19th Feb, 2024   0

Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull Talking Therapies hosted an informational session at the Coventry Central Library on Valentines Day called ‘Chat and Cheer’.

The talking therapies team used the time to share information about the mental health service with the public and giving away merchandise, such as pens, reusable bags and tea bags.

The event coincided with the launch of the ‘Bin Feeling Down’ social media competition, a co-sponsored campaign with Coventry City Council that highlights the importance of looking after your mental wellbeing by using designs on bins and lorries in Coventry.

The winner in each section will be awarded with a £100 voucher.

Participants are encouraged to upload a photo or video to the social media pages of Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull Talking Therapies on Instagram, Facebook and X using #binfeelingdown or #BFD.

The contest closes on 15 March 2024. The full rules can be found on the ‘Bin Feeling Down’ website.

The Talking Therapies team will be at the Coventry Central Library (Smithfield Way, Coventry CV1 1FY) with information about the service on the following dates:

  • February 21 (1pm to 3pm)
  • March 6 (12 noon to 3pm)
  • March 20 (12 noon to 3pm)
