COVENTRY City will play Wolverhampton Wanderers in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

The Sky Blues will travel to Wolves’s Molineux Stadium on the weekend of Saturday, March 16.

The Sky Blues hammered League One Oxford United 6-2 in the third round before then seeing off Championship rivals Sheffield Wednesday in round four following a replay.

And City booked their place in the last eight after romping to a 5-0 win against National League South side and this season’s giant-killers Maidstone United.

Opponents Wolves beat fellow Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion 1-0 in the fifth round after claiming a 2-0 away win at Black Country rivals West Bromwich Albion in round four.

Coventry are making their first FA Cup quarter-final appearance since the 2008/09 season when City lost 2-0 to eventual winners Chelsea.
