COVENTRY has been ranked as the worst city in the UK for starting a new career.

A recent study by Business Name Generator compared various factors for career starters, including the number of entry-level jobs available, average entry-level starting salaries, unemployment rates, and the cost of living in each city.

Coventry ranked at the bottom of the list, painting a grim picture for aspiring professionals seeking to kick-start their careers in the city.

Coventry offers the lowest average entry-level salary of £23,614 among all cities surveyed.
