Bulkington boy charged with having blade in Bedworth Town Centre

A BEDWORTH boy has been charged with public possession of a blade.

The 17-year-old boy from Bulkington has been charged following an incident on March 16.

Officers were alerted by a member of the public to a young boy allegedly brandishing a knife in Bedworth town centre.

Town Centre Officer PC Shorthouse found the boy on Newtown Road and reportedly discovered a knife on their person.

They were arrested shortly afterwards.

The boy from Bulkington will appear for their first hearing in Coventry Magistrates Court on Thursday, March 28.
