Warwickshire children reminded not to play on building sites

During this Easter break and start of spring weather, new homes provider Bromford is reminding children to prioritise safety while playing outdoors across Warwickshire.

While encouraging children to make the most of their time off, Bromford emphasised the importance of staying away from active building sites.

Recognising the allure that construction sites may hold for curious youngsters, the company stressed that these areas are not playgrounds and pose significant risks.

Bromford, along with its developer partners, implemented security measures to ensure that building sites remain inaccessible to unauthorised people.

To educate local children about the potential hazards of building sites, Bromford organised site safety visits for schools and clubs.

These educational schemes aim to raise awareness among children about the risks posed by building sites and the importance of adhering to safety guidelines.

Catherine Jarrett, director of sales and marketing at Bromford, said: “If you live close to a development, it’s always worth making your children aware of the dangers and know to never go near a building site.

“We’d encourage anyone keen to find out more about how we could host a health and safety talk or visit to get in touch via our social media pages.”
