AN INVESTIGATION into reports of sexual offences against two teenage girls in Rugby in the 1990s has resulted in a Coventry man being charged.
Peter Livingstone Jones, 55, of Wheelwright Lane, Coventry has been charged with two counts of rape, one count of kidnap and one count of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
It is alleged the offences were committed against the two girls in 1998.
Jones was also charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place in connection with an alleged incident on Wednesday (November 8). He was due to appear at Warwickshire Magistrates Court on Friday (November 10).
