THE FORMER Sky Blues Supporters’ Club will be auctioned off next week.

The building in Freehold Street, Hillfields, was bought by the Coventry City fans group in the late 1970s.

The club was formed in the 1920s and raised many thousands of pounds for CCFC to help with ground improvements, including floodlights.

The site, with a guide price of between £600,000 and £800,000, has the potential for redevelopment for a number of uses.

Situated on half an acre of land the building measures 6,684sq ft and comes with three function rooms, two kitchens, ancillary offices, stores and toilets.

The auction by Loveitts will take place at 6.30pm next Thursday, May 20, and will be live-streamed.
