This was the moment a car was engulfed by flames on the M42 .
The vehicle caught fire on the southbound carriageway between junctions three and four earlier today (February 11).
The footage shows the car well ablaze with flames ripping through the vehicle’s engine.
Traffic can be seen flowing as normal to the side with no disruptions.
Fire crews worked alongside Highways West Midlands to move the car to the side of the motorway – before it went up in flames.
Three fire crews were sent to the scene with a total of 15 firefighters.
