THE FAMILY of Patricia McIntosh have paid tribute to a loving mum after her estranged husband was charged with her murder.

The body of the 56-year-old, known as Trish, was discovered by police at her home in the village of Knightcote near Gaydon on the evening of Wednesday November 15.

Her son Stephen Clemons said: “Trish was a loving daughter, sister, auntie and mum. She was a beautiful, smart, hard working, funny, caring person who would do anything for anyone. She meant everything to us; she was our rock.

“She was very generous, the greatest mum I could ever have wished for and I am so proud of her and her achievements.

“This has been a huge shock for our family and left a hole in our lives.

“We’ll always love you mum, rest in peace.”

Mrs McIntosh, who had moved to Knightcote from Southam about three years ago, is understood to have suffered fatal head injuries

Her estranged husband Andrew McIntosh has been charged with her murder.

The 54-year-old pilot, who moved to a cottage at Woolscott Manor, Woolscott, near Rugby, when the couple split, was remanded in custody when he appeared at Warwick Crown Court earlier this week.

Judge Andrew Lockhart QC fixed May 14 next year for the start of the trial.

The judge adjourned for a plea and trial preparation hearing to take place on January 19.
