A PROG rock festival in Leamington will be raising money for mental health charities Mind and Help Musicians UK.

TrinityLive takes place at The Assembly on Saturday May 11 and will feature Mostly Autumn, Godsticks, 10 Earth, Alan Reed and the Daughters of Expediency, Birks & Kroon, and The C Live Collective.

A spokesman for the organisers said: “We felt mental health is an important issue for all of us, and if, through music, we can make a difference and help even just one person then it all becomes worthwhile. However, we decided we should return to having three charities (three being an important number to us), and so have added a third one which is very personal to one of our team.”

Scope will also benefit from this year’s festival. TrinityLive founder Steph Farrer’s eldest son is severely disabled with cerebral palsy, and the disability equality charity has provided her with a wealth support throughout his life.

The festival, now in its fourth year, will also include a charity raffle and auction.
