Supporters urged to virtually help The Myton Hospices

SUPPORTERS are being urged to virtually help The Myton Hospices.

The pandemic has had a devastating impact on the charity’s fund-raising with currently all face to face fund-raising currently suspended and its 27 shops temporarily closed.

But providing dedicated care and support for terminally ill patients, and their families, in its inpatient beds and in the community remains the charity’s primary focus, and it needs to raise £750,000 every month to continue to do this.

People can join a number of virtual events to help raise vital funds for Myton:

  • Zumba with Matt Print via Zoom – £6 per person Friday May 29, 7pm. All ages and fitness levels are welcome. Sign up at www.mytonhospice.org/Zumba
  • Virtual Quiz 2.0 via Zoom – £5 per person (£10 per couple, £15 per family) Friday June 5, 7.30pm. Enter at www.mytonhospice.org/quiz
  • Yoga, Pilates, Conditioning Fusion with Trisha Quinn via Zoom – £6 per person Saturday June 13, 10am. Find out more and sign up at www.mytonhospice.org/unite

The charity already has a number of events which people can sign up to, and more are planned. Visit mytonhospice.org/events for full details.
