Visitors to Stratford reminded to visit respectfully

Coventry Editorial 7th Jul, 2020   0

VISITORS to Stratford are being reminded to visit respectfully.

They are urged to enjoy the town’s parks and gardens and the river but to dispose of their rubbish responsibly or take it home with them.

A spokesperson said: “If the closest bin is full, the council is asking people to find one that isn’t, or take their rubbish home.

“The council’s contractors are doing their best to clear the rubbish and waste that’s being left in the parks.”

And visitors by car have plenty of parking options.

Church Street car park is open to the public to use on a daily basis (Monday to Sunday, 24hours a day and has been open to the public since March). Previously the pay and display car park was only available after 4pm to members of the public in the week and at weekends, but is now open for public use during weekdays as well as evenings and weekends.

Bridgeway multi-storey and surface car park also offer one hour free parking between 8am and 4pm.
