ORGANISERS of the Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice summer fair are hoping to attract local talent, community groups and sports clubs to showcase their skills and entertain the visitors.

The annual event is being held on the fields adjacent the hospice in Easter Way in Ash Green and will take place on Saturday June 18 (12-3pm).

Individuals, dance groups, sports clubs, gymnastic groups, martial arts clubs musicans and bands are being encouraged to come forward to showcase their talents and entertain the crowd.

This year the fayre will include an ‘It’s a Knockout’ challenge throughout the day, a 25 and 50-mile charity bike ride and 13-mile memory walk which starts at in the city centre and finishes at the hospice.

“We are anticipating that this year’s summer fayre will be bigger than ever with several other activities taking place alongside the traditional stalls and fundraising fun,” said Kaylee Mills, fundraising administrator at the hospice.

“We have lots of exciting things organised and we are hoping the entertainment groups we get will be the icing on the cake. It’s FREE admittance and everyone is welcome, there will be a variety of stalls, including jewellery, handbags, sweets, craft items, tea and cakes, and burgers, hot dogs and ice creams.”
