COVENTRY City has broken its record for the number of season tickets sold after passing the 20,000 mark.
The Sky Blues have already surpassed last season’s total of 19,424 – also a record figure – with just over two months until the start of the 2024/25 season.
The club has not yet indicated if there will be a cap on season tickets to ensure sufficient tickets are available to supporters on matchdays.
Coventry owner and executive chairman, Doug King, said: “We are delighted to announce the record sales of season tickets, as we smash through the 20,000 mark.
“With just over two months to go before the 2024/25 campaign gets underway, it is a tremendous achievement and one that is testament to the supporters and the upward trajectory of this great football club.
“There is still time for fans to be part of it, be at the Coventry Building Society Arena to support the team and to create the fantastic atmosphere that we have all loved – make sure you do not miss out.”
Coventry froze season ticket prices this term to thank fans for their support last season and to encourage as many of the expanding Sky Blue Army as possible to secure a seat for all 23 home league games for the 2024/25 campaign.
