Coventry Editorial 26th Jun, 2024 Updated: 26th Jun, 2024   0

COVENTRY City will start the 2024/25 Championship season with a trip to Stoke City after the EFL revealed the fixtures for the upcoming campaign.

The Sky Blues head to the bet365 Stadium on Saturday, August 10 with newly-promoted Oxford United the first visitors to the Coventry Building Society Arena on Saturday, August 17.

City close out the opening month of the season with a trip to Bristol City (August 24) before hosting Norwich City at the end of the month (August 31).

Over the festive period, Coventry make the long trek to newly-promoted Portsmouth (December 21) in their last game before Christmas.

The Sky Blues host Wayne Rooney’s Plymouth Argyle on Boxing Day (December 26) and then Millwall three days later (December 29).

Coventry begin the New Year away at Cardiff City (January 1) and host West Bromwich Albion on Good Friday (April 18) before travelling to Plymouth on Easter Monday (April 21).

City look set for a tricky end to the campaign as Mark Robins’ side visit relegated Luton Town (April 26) in their final away game before hosting Middlesbrough (May 3) in the last game of the season.
