COVENTRY United have confirmed the appointment of Scott Parsons and Matt Button to lead the club’s under-21s team next season.
The appointments come after Jonathan Morris and Jamie Burkacki stepped down as joint under-21 managers to take some time away from the game.
Coventry also confirmed the club will not run an under-18s team next season due to pitch availability and various other factors which has led to the depature of under-18s managers William Davies and Denzil Jarrett.
Parsons and Burton said: “We are delighted to join such an ambitious club as Coventry United. From our first meeting, with the vision set out of developing players ready to progress into the first team, this is something we have had a lot of success in the past, and are very experienced working with this age group.
“We’re looking forward to working very closely with Jamie and Aaron from the first team to help bring success to the club and develop young exciting talent within Coventry.
“Open trial will take place on June 22 and 29 with full details to be released by the club in due course.”
