COVENTRY United have confirmed the signings of James Mace, Connor Mort and Kevin Hemagou for the 2024/25 season.
Defender Mace played with new United boss Jamie Hood for eight years at Leamington where is the club’s modern-day record appearance holder.
Midfielder Mort arrives at Butts Park Arena from Racing Club Warwick where he made more than 60 appearances for the first team after captaining Warwick’s youth sides at various levels.
Mort said: “I’m excited for the new opportunity here at Coventry United. The aspirations of the club and management are something I wanted to be part of, I can’t wait to get going and help the club challenge where it wants to be.”
And United have also signed experienced striker Hemagou who has spent the last 10 years playing between Step Three and Step Five in non-league.
He helped Walsall Wood win the Midland Football League Premier Division league title in 2022/23.
Hemagou also played alongside and under United boss Hood at Atherstone Town and most recently played for Shifnal Town
Hemagou said: “I spoke to the gaffer for a while about the team ambition and club project for the past months. I am excited to join the team and help build something.”
