COVENTRY have increased their National League One squad to 35 players after signing four new players.
Ryan Hough, Joe Carpenter and Rikki Stout were retained for the 2015/16 campaign.
While lock forward Ben Thomas has signed from Championship side Rotherham Titans, along with fellow lock Martin Wolfenden from Cambridge winger.
Thomas, 27, stands at 6ft 5ins and has previously enjoyed spells at Barking, London Welsh and London Scottish before joining the Titans three seasons ago.
He played 40 times for Rotherham and has represented England at Under-16,Under-19 and Under-20 level.
Wolfenden also stands at 6ft 5ins and moves to the Butts Park Arena from National League Two side Cambridge.
He is also a member of the Zimbabwean World Cup squad.
Winger Hough moves to Coventry from Nottingham where he has made 51 appearances in four years playing in the Championship.
The 24-year-old scored eight tries during that period and provides competition for fellow wingers Dan Rundle and Dom Lespierre.
Carpenter is a 27-year-old flanker who joins from Moseley where he has made 20 appearances over the past two seasons in the Championship.
Wolverhampton-born Carpenter can play in all back row positions but prefers to play in the number seven role.
Prop forward Rikki Stout is retained from last season’s squad having joined at the start of the 2014/15 season.
Stout has been retained after making 15 appearances last season and he will bring more competition to an already strong-looking front row.
