RUGBY Borough have announced the appointment of Stuart Bishop as acting chairman for the junior boys football club.
Bishop first joined the club as a parent and went on to become the head coach of his son’s team.
Following three successful years promoting the club and its members through the executive committee, he has been named acting chairman for the junior boys club at Borough and will help lead the club through an exciting phase of growth.
Meanwhile, working with Renegade Communications, Borough have developed and launched a new website which can be visited at www.rugbyboroughfc.co.uk.
Commenting on the club’s new website, Bishop said: “I’m delighted to share our brand new website. You will find everything within a click of a button – whether you are a player, parent, coach or just want to find out more about our club and community.
“The website is our central hub online for everything from the latest club and team news, to match reports, merchandise and club developments. It also complements our ongoing investment in our club facilities.
“As a coach I have watched lots of boys and girls grow and develop their football skills and team spirit here at RBFC.
“With our new website and continuing investment around the club, I am confident that as a club we will continue to keep our children and their development at the centre of all that we do and aim to achieve.”
