FRANK Lampard remains the odds-on favourite to become the next Coventry City manager and replace former boss Mark Robins.
Coventry owner and chairman Doug King confirmed Lampard, priced at (1/3) with Sky Bet, has submitted his CV to the club in an interview with Sky Sports News.
The former Chelsea and England great spent last season out of the dugout after ending the 2022/23 campaign as caretaker manager of Chelsea.
He previously guided Derby County to the Championship play-off final in his first season as a manager in the 2018/19 campaign.
Former Coventry striker Robbie Keane (9/1) has drifted to the same price as interim England boss Lee Carsley.
That means Wycombe Wanderers manager Matt Bloomfield (7/1) is now second favourite behind Lampard.
Bloomfield has guided Wycombe to the top of the League One table this season.
Former Stoke boss Steven Schumacher (12/1) is an outside shot while interim Sky Blues boss Rhys Carr (18/1) is also an option.
Carr guided City to a 2-2 draw against league leaders Sunderland in his first game in charge of the club last weekend.
Coventry are seeking a new manager to replace former boss Robins who led the club to two promotions and an FA Cup semi-final during his near eight-year tenure.
