COVENTRY City boss Frank Lampard is on the shortlist for the Championship manager of the month award for November.

Lampard guided the Sky Blues to a perfect November which saw Coventry win five matches and take a maximum 15 points.

The club ended November 10 points clear at the top of the Championship table.

And Coventry also scored three or more goals in four of their five November games.

The Sky Blues started the month with a come-from-behind 3-1 win against Sheffield United at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

And Lampard then got the better of his Sky Blues predecessor Mark Robins as Coventry won 1-0 at Stoke City in a top-of-the-table clash.

City came from two goals down to win 3-2 against 10-man West Bromwich Albion to earn a third straight victory.

And Coventry won another top-of-the-table clash against Middlesbrough at the Riverside as the Sky Blues scored two late goals to claim a 4-2 victory.

Lampard’s side ended the month with another come-from-behind win as Coventry beat Charlton Athletic 3-1 to celebrate a perfect November.

The other nominees for the manager award are Birmingham City’s Chris Davies, Derby County’s John Eustace and Southampton’s Tonda Eckert.

The judging panel for the award comprises former Barnsley boss Danny Wilson, Sky Sports EFL expert Don Goodman and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.

Lampard won the Championship manager of the month award for October earlier this season.
