COVENTRY pair Charlotte Moore and Peter Cusack will represent Team England in wheelchair basketball at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow this summer.
Moore won bronze at the 2022 Games in Birmingham four years ago while Cusack won Paralympic silver with Great Britian at the 2024 Paris Games.
The pair form part of an eight-player squad with four men and four women selected for the 3×3-sided games.
Moore returns to the squad alongside fellow Birmingham bronze medallists Joy Haizelden and Jade Atkin while two-time Paralympian Lucy Robinson completed the women’s side.
Cusack makes his Commonwealth Games debut this summer alongside three other debutants in the men’s squad – James Hazell, Oscar Knight and Tom Harvey.
Team England chef de mission, Jonathon Riall, said: “It’s brilliant to be able to announce our final set of athletes for Glasgow 2026.
“Wheelchair basketball was an incredible addition to the Commonwealth programme in 2022, with Team England winning medals in both events, and I’m hopeful the squad can deliver again in Glasgow.”
Team Leader for 3×3 wheelchair basketball at Glasgow 2026, Grant Wilson added: “I’m excited for the players to take to the court after a tough selection process and high energy preparation camps.
“With a combination of those that competed at Birmingham and some upcoming young talent, I look forward to seeing the players compete on the international 3×3 stage for only the second time in Commonwealth Games history.”
The Commonwealth Games take place in Glasgow, Scotland from July 23 to August 2.
