COVENTRY Sphinx will begin their first season back at Step Five with a home game against Desborough Town on the opening weekend of the season.
The United Counties League released the fixtures for the 2026/27 season with Coventry back at Step Five in the Premier South Division after suffering relegation last campaign.
And Sphinx will begin the campaign by welcoming Desborough to the Cameron Slater Arena on Sunday, July 26 as part of the League’s ‘Ground Hop’ event.
Coventry then travel to Yaxley on Saturday, August 1 in the club’s first away fixture of the 2026/27 season before making the trip to newly-promoted Knowle on Tuesday, August 4.
Sphinx play four games in September and five in October following by three matches in November as Coventry host near neighbours Rugby Town (November 7) at the start of the month.
Coventry travel to Northampton Sileby Rangers (December 19) in the club’s final game before Christmas.
And Sphinx make the trip to FC Stratford on Boxing Day (December 26) in the club’s final fixture of the year.
Coventry begin 2027 with a home match against Northampton ON Chenecks (January 2) before travelling to Godmanchester Rovers (January 9) for the club’s first away game of the New Year.
And Sphinx then welcome Knowle to the Cameron Slater Arena (January 16) before playing three games in February.
Coventry play four games in March which includes a trip to Daventry Town (March 27) and host Stratford (March 29) over the Easter weekend.
Sphinx begin the final month of the campaign with a trip to Lutterworth Town (April 3) and host Highgate United (April 10) in the club’s final home game of the season.
And Coventry make the short trip to Rugby to play Valley (April 17 )on the final day of the season.
