CHASE & Status is the first act to be confirmed for MTV Crashes Coventry at the Ricoh Arena.
The platinum-selling Drum ‘n’ Bass duo will take to the stage as part of day one of MTV Crashes Coventry on May 27 following the recent release of their new single ‘Control’, featuring Slaves.
Saul and Will, aka Chase & Status have firmly cemented themselves within the dance scene and festival main stages for over a decade with their unique sound.
Speaking ahead of their appearance at the Ricoh Arena, Chase & Status said: “It will be our first live show back on this album run, we haven’t played live in the UK for over a year and it feels amazing to be back…and we can’t wait to start off with this show.”
Following on from the success of last year’s MTV Crashes in Plymouth, this year’s event will take place on the late May Bank Holiday (May 27 and 28) and will be the first to be held in a stadium.
Previous years’ artists include Little Mix, Tinie Tempah, Alicia Keys, Kaiser Chiefs, Steve Aoki, Example and Olly Murs.
MTV Crashes Coventry will be broadcast on MTV’s flagship UK music TV channels, shown in over 35 countries.
