A UK-based healthcare technology company, InTouchNow.ai, has been selected to join the Primary Care Accelerator, a highly regarded programme designed to support innovative startups and technology providers in successfully entering the NHS.
InTouchNow.ai provides an advanced voice AI platform built specifically for primary care providers, including GP practices, clinics, and hospitals. Its technology is designed to manage patient communications at scale, particularly addressing the intense pressure of peak demand periods such as the 8am call surge. By handling unlimited inbound calls simultaneously, the platform ensures that no patient enquiry goes unanswered.
At the core of the solution are intelligent AI receptionists for GP practices, that are capable of answering calls instantly, with the option to choose from hundreds of voices and local accents, to triage patients, book appointments, and automate repetitive administrative tasks.
This approach removes the need for patients to wait in long queues while enabling healthcare staff to focus on delivering care. By streamlining communication and standardising triage, InTouchNow.ai helps reduce operational strain on frontline teams while significantly improving patient access and experience.
Founded by Hertfordshire-based entrepreneur, Daniel Park, the company builds on a family business that operated a call centre with more than 300 staff, but has moved with the AI upgrades. Over the past two years, InTouchNow.ai has updated into a scalable, AI-driven platform designed to integrate seamlessly with NHS systems and workflows, ensuring it meets the practical demands of modern primary care.
The Primary Care Accelerator, which is headquartered in Birmingham, operates within one of the UK’s most established primary care networks. The programme is dedicated to identifying, testing, and scaling innovations that can make a measurable difference across the NHS. Acting as a collaborative “collective” of large GP provider organisations, it focuses on accelerating the adoption of technologies that improve patient outcomes, increase efficiency, and support the long-term sustainability of primary care services.
As part of the accelerator, InTouchNow.ai will gain direct access to NHS stakeholders, clinical environments, and a network that serves millions of patients. The programme is structured to help participating companies overcome common barriers to entry, including complex procurement processes, regulatory challenges, and lengthy adoption cycles. It provides hands-on support across product validation, development, and go-to-market strategy, enabling faster and more effective deployment within the NHS.
The accelerator is a joint initiative between Our Health Partnership – one of the UK’s largest GP provider organisations – and Harbr, a collective of experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and healthcare specialists. Together, they bring significant experience in scaling solutions across primary care, with a track record of supporting technologies that have achieved widespread adoption throughout the UK GP landscape.
Beyond its founding partners, the Primary Care Accelerator is supported by a wider network of organisations across academia, policy, and healthcare innovation. This includes collaboration with institutions such as the University of Birmingham, alongside engagement with regulatory and policy bodies to ensure that emerging technologies are aligned with NHS priorities and clinical realities. This comprehensive support ecosystem enables participating companies to navigate the complexities of the healthcare system while delivering meaningful, measurable outcomes.
By joining the programme, InTouchNow.ai positions itself at the forefront of NHS innovation. The partnership reflects a shared ambition to tackle some of the most pressing challenges facing primary care today, including rising patient demand, workforce shortages, and increasing administrative burden.
Daniel Park, Founder of InTouchNow.ai, said: “Being selected for the Primary Care Accelerator is an important step forward for our team and a strong validation of the work we’ve been doing to modernise patient access. From day one, our focus has been on solving real operational challenges within primary care—particularly the overwhelming demand on phone lines and administrative teams that impacts both staff wellbeing and patient experience.”
“What makes this opportunity especially valuable is the ability to work closely with NHS leaders, clinicians, and operational teams to further refine our technology in live environments. We’re not just building AI for the sake of innovation—we’re building practical, scalable solutions that can be trusted and adopted at pace. Through the accelerator, we’re looking forward to deepening our understanding of frontline needs, accelerating deployment, and ultimately helping create a more responsive, efficient system that benefits both patients and healthcare professionals across the NHS.”
