Is your online casino safe?

Coventry Editorial 18th Feb, 2021 Updated: 4th Mar, 2021   0

LONDON  is a casino lover’s city.

Casinos are not just part of the gambling scene, they are a major source of other industries such as entertainment, dining, and hotel accommodations. People have grown accustomed to turning to casinos when they are looking to have fun.

However, during the Covid pandemic, that means turning to online casinos for excitement and fun.

Some online casinos are 100 per cent legit. They are licensed and insured.

They use state of the art software and work with the best video game designers to offer the best slots, video poker, blackjack, and other games.

Lottoland is a perfect example of this.

Their players are offered a variety of virtual games, games with live dealers, and lottery games.

They can bet on the results of a lotto that looks and plays just like their national or local lottery, or they can play one of Lottoland’s unique lotteries.

For example, they can win £1 million on Lotto X5. Where you have 5 chances to win a million with one bet.

But, there are some online casinos that you need to stay away from. Some are not trustworthy.

Some are not customer-friendly.

Some just do not pass the ‘smell test’. Below, we are going to give you a few examples of casinos that have been ‘blacklisted’.

We will share some information on casinos that seem to be headed to the blacklist or at the very least make the reviewers uncomfortable.

Please note, we have done extensive research through various sources to acquire this information. Any similarities to other lists are coincidental and unintentional.

Blacklisted Online Casinos and those that may be soon:

Posh Casino

This casino gives a great first impression. It is an invitation-only site. Nothing makes us want to get into a site more than not being able to, right?

Once you are in, trying to find out anything about them is very difficult to check them out.

Their licence, insurance, and basic information are well hidden.

While investigating this site, we found several complaints from people who claimed that Posh did not pay out in the time frames that they had set up. However, trying to verify this was very difficult. The site keeps information hidden.

It is possible that it is provided to the winner at the time of the transaction, but only they could see it.

This is a sketchy practice. Since most transactions are with e-wallets, which are usually a ‘no-delay’ process, we assume something else is going on. Our advice is to stay away from this site.

Diamond Club VIP Casino

Diamond Club VIP Casino is a smaller online casino. There have been several complaints about slow payments. Some are unresolved and several are/

That is not an issue in itself, but combined with the many complaints from customers claiming extremely slow payouts, it appears they may not have sufficient funds and backing to pay large winnings.

Some of the terms are unusual. Specifically:

“This casino forbids certain betting patterns or strategies (even when playing without a bonus) and has used this rule against players before.

This casino limits the amount of money players can win when playing with real money (without a bonus).”

Spammers

The casinos on this list are infamous for spamming players. Once they have your email address you can expect it to be overflowing endlessly.

● 99 Slot Machines

● Mighty Slots

● Plenty Jackpots

● Real Vegas Online

● SlotLuv

● Slot Nuts

● Slots Inferno

How does the spam work?

Links – a casino site allows its site to add links to direct customers to online properties that are set-up for the purpose of scams. Once the site is infected the spammy links grow throughout the site and they point to your email.

Ads – People on the casino online sites often see great offers. But, when they click the offer they don’t find the offer, they just get pulled deeper into the scams and spams.

Keywords and SEO – once a hacker has his hooks in a website, he can compromise entire webpages with keywords that may not even make sense. This is nothing more than hijacking your searches. When you type in that keyword for a legit search, it pulls up his site so he gets more hits. It is all part of his scam to make money and he doesn’t care what it does to your computer or experience online.

Online casinos are fun and entertaining. You can play the games you love and sometimes win some cash while having a good time.

If you are playing a lottery or a casino game with a quality site that is licensed, insured, and legal, you have nothing to worry about.

But, if you go to just any casino without taking the time to check them out, you could find yourself on a blacklisted site.

Do a quick search on the casino you want to try, before you sign-up. This will help you feel confident that you are playing with the good guys.
