Dining at Forme and Chase in the Coventry Telegraph Hotel was an exquisite experience, characterised by an attentive service, and a menu that celebrates both creativity and flavour.
The restaurant itself was like walking into a museum of newspaper (something I was very excited about being a journalist).
They had displays of front pages, and old machines which were used in print.

When we sat down for our meal, our server came over to take our order straight away.
We began our meal with the Salmon and Dill Fishcake and the Maple and Pineapple Baby Back Ribs.
The fishcake had a delicate flavour of salmon perfectly complemented by the fresh dill.
For the baby back ribs – the sweetness of the maple glaze paired wonderfully with the subtle tang of the pineapple, resulting in a dish that was both savoury and sweet.

For our main courses, I had the Harissa Lamb Chops and my partner had the Muscle Rump.
The Harissa Lamb Chops were a standout, offering a perfect blend of spices that added a warm, aromatic heat without overpowering the natural flavour of the lamb.
The Muscle Rump was equally impressive, featuring a robust and hearty cut of meat that was expertly seared to lock in its juices.

The dessert offerings continued the trend of excellence.
The Passion Fruit Cheesecake was light yet indulgent, providing a refreshing end to the meal.
The Baked Alaska was the showstopper of the evening both visually and in flavour.

The meringue exterior was perfectly torched, hiding a cold, creamy centre that melted in the mouth, with a subtle sweetness that rounded off the dining experience on a high note.
Overall, Forme and Chase delivered an exceptional dining experience from start to finish.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable meal in Coventry.
