Documents you need for travelling to Vietnam

When you are travelling on an international flight, you have to submit one of the following identification forms.
· Passport.
· Immigration or travel document in accordance with the Vietnamese Law on exit, entry, transit, and residence of foreigners.
· In case your child doesn’t have a passport, their names, date of birth, and stamped portrait picture has to be available in the travel document of the legal representative.

Types of Visa for Vietnam
Almost all passport holders have to get a valid Visa for entry to Vietnam. At present, there are three ways to get a visa from Vietnam. These are:
· Applying on arrival
· Applying at Vietnam embassy
· Applying for eVisa
eVisa is the most recent option. It is a short-term visa and for a single entry or purpose of visit. It is available to citizens of 46 countries only. This is only for travellers who are travelling to Vietnam through 28 global border gates.
Vietnam Visa on arrival is a well-known option among Vietnam travellers. Many travellers prefer this because it is convenient, simple, and time-saving. With this, you can go for a last-minute application, too. It is a great option for leisure, as well as business travellers.
Vietnam embassy visa is a conventional one. For this, travellers have to complete documents, carry them to the consulate/embassy for submission, and pay a visa fee. Thereafter, they have to go back to the embassy to get a visa. This, too, is a great option for leisure and business travellers.
