FAMILIES across Coventry and Warwickshire can look forward to a bumper programme of theatrical fun this half term as the Belgrade Theatre hosts is annual May camp.
For youngsters with a passion for performance, the theatre’s May camp will run from Tuesday (May 31) until Wednesday (June 1) with two days of action-packed drama games and activities expected.
This year’s activities will see budding actors explore the mysterious and enchanted landscapes of Greek myths and legends.
Led by experienced theatre practitioners, the camp requires no previous drama experience – just plenty of enthusiasm and a sprinkling of imagination.
Open to ages eight to 16, the two days start at 10am and finish at 4.30pm with both days costing £50 per person.
Following the theatrical fun, theatregoers will be able to feast their eyes on the Tale Gate Theatre’s and their new production of The Giant Loo Roll.
The creators of Marty MacDonald’s Farm will then host Pongo’s Party on Friday (June 3) and Saturday (June 4) featuring the voice of CBeebies’ Justin Fletcher and Nicole Davis.
With a colourful farmyard and host of lovable puppet character, Pongo’s Party is suitable for three to seven-year-old’s and comes jam-packed with fun, songs and laughter.
