HOUSEBUILDER Wain Homes has bought a 12-acre site on Banner Lane with outline planning permission for 120 new homes from Bruker UK Ltd.
The firm will build two, three and four-bedroom homes consisting of houses, bungalows and apartments.
The £37million development will include 30 affordable homes with work expected to start next year and the first houses completed by December 2023.
The site is less than a mile from Tile Hill station, which is a six-minute train ride to the city centre.
It is also bordered by greenbelt and close to Meriden and Balsall Common.
Wain Homes West Midlands managing director, Andy Peters said the Banner Lane development is an ‘exciting scheme’.
