15-year-old arrested after bike locks are cut in Nuneaton

A TEENAGER was arrested after reports of bike locks being cut in Nuneaton.

Officers from Warwickshire Police responded after witnesses claimed they saw a boy in a balaclava cutting locks off bikes on Newtown Road on January 25 before making his way to Nuneaton Railway Station.

Following the incident police arrested a 15-year-old boy from Nuneaton on suspicion of going equipped and possession of Class B drugs.

The boy has since been released on bail, pending further investigation into the matter.

Officers are urging anyone who was in the area at the time or has dash cam or CCTV footage to come forward and report it at warwickshire.police.uk/report or by calling 101.
