£330,000 worth of cannabis seized as police raid four properties in Hillfields, Coventry

A LARGE quantity of cannabis was seized – worth more than £330,000 was seized when police raided four suspected properties in Hillfields.

The swoops – carried out by the Hillfields Neighbourhood Team and the Coventry Gangs Unit – saw officers smash their way into the houses in Winchester Street on Sunday.

Officers described it as ‘another serious blow to organised criminality in the city’ and the Hillfields Neighbourhood Team thanked the community for all their help and support.

Anyone with information on drug cultivation or dealing in their area should call police on 101.
