A DEVELOPMENT of 40 homes, including 10 affordable, is set to be completed in Keresley in June with the first residents expected to be in by the spring.

As part of Jubilee Green, a four-acre site off Watery Lane, £400,000 will be invested in the area by developers Bellway South Midlands as part of the planning agreement.

This will include £165,400 for secondary education, £37,920 for post-16 education, £64,960 for healthcare and £146,632 in biodiversity contributions.

The site itself is made up of 30 three and four-bedroom properties which will be sold on the open market, along with the ten affordable – five houses for discounted sale and five affordable homes for rent or shared ownership.

Bellway South Midlands’ sales director Elaine Brown said the contributions would bring significant support to services in the area and be particularly good news for young people.

“Work is progressing very well at this exclusive development of only 40 homes, and it will not be long before our showhome opens on site.”

She added the location was great, just three miles from Coventry city centre with good motorway links and near Keresley Jubilee Wood.
