NIRMAL Pure-Mind will be helping Coventrians with their wellbeing with a free breath work session this Saturday.

The two-hour workshop will be hosted at the Ramgharia Gurdwara on Foleshill Road from 11.30am.

The session will include movement and shaking, breathwork techniques and meditation, journaling and sharing.

These exercises will aim to put people in a state of deep relaxation by releasing tension, stress and trauma as well as easing physical pain.

Those wishing to join the session will need a yoga mat, bottle of water, blanket and pillow.

Nirmal pure-mind was set up anonymously last January and looks to help people with their mental health during the cost-of-living crisis through events including health and fitness and arts and crafts activities.

It also hosts a walking group every Sunday morning at the War Memorial Park.

The organisation aims to use events such as this one to encourage people of all ages to open up about and improve their mental health.

People will be required to register before the breath work event.

Email [email protected] to register and include the full names and contact numbers of those attending.
