A mission to help older adults continues for new home care company owner

A FORMER audiologist who thrives on helping older people live well has opened a care company to give elderly locals the chance to stay at home if they require care.

John Thirde, was keen to continue helping elderly people live well.

That led to buying his own home care company, Home Instead Coventry South, which provides care in elderly people’s own homes.

John said “I want to show that there are options available for those that require care.

“Our fantastic caregivers are matched to clients based on similar interests because we’re really keen for them to bond. I’m passionate about our caregivers making older age a positive time for our clients.”

Home Instead Coventry South is looking to recruit 15 caregivers to join the team.

The company doesn’t necessarily look for previous experience in care; just a warm heart and a desire to make a difference.

Jessica has been a caregiver at Home Instead Coventry South since June.

“Being a caregiver is so rewarding. It really is an honour to make living at home a reality for older adults in the area, and it’s always a bonus putting a smile on clients’ faces.
