ANOTHER murder investigation has been launched in Coventry today after a man was found dead at a flat last night (Monday June 1).
The 57-year-old man was found in Eden Street at around 7.30pm.
A 54-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody.
Detective Inspector Hannah Whitehouse from our homicide team said: “We’re in the very early stages of our investigation.
“A man has sadly lost his life so we’re doing all we can to determine what happened to him and who was responsible.
“I’d urge anyone who may have seen anything suspicious, or who has any information to contact us as soon as possible.”

Earlier today, police announced a woman, 18, had been arrested in Willenhall, Coventry, on suspicion of murder after a man of the same age was stabbed.
