RUNNERS of all abilities will have the chance to tackle the annual Coventry 10K run which takes place this Sunday (November 15) in the War Memorial Park.
Part of the 22 run MCC Promotions 10K run series, which takes place across the UK, the event is expected to be a sellout and is one of the most popular runs amongst competitors.
Taking in three laps of a marked out War Memorial Park route, competitors will be aiming to reach the summit of the podium where the top three runners will be awarded trophies.
Event organiser Mark Caswell said: “We’re looking to attract 300 competitors on the day and can assure a friendly day where runners can meet like-minded people.
“We’ve so far hosted events in Sheffield, Durham, Weymouth and Northampton.
“Coventry always proves a popular event due to its central location and the strength of the event in past years.”
Registration will be accepted on the day where runners can register between 9am and 9.45am in the park by the white football pavillion.
Entrance for the run costs £13 and includes a free tee shirt and medal, for more information visit www.mccpromotions.com/wordpress/
