Alleged attempted knifepoint robbery in Coventry prompts appeal

IMAGES have been released by police after a suspected attempted robbery at knifepoint in Coventry.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “Who are these two men? We’d like to speak to them about an attempted robbery in Stoke, Coventry.

“We’re investigating after a man was assaulted in Bulls Head Lane at around 5pm on Monday, July 1 by two men who also tried to take his car keys.

“It’s believed they were in possession of a knife, which they used to threaten the man.




“Fortunately, the victim was not injured.

“Anyone who has information is asked to contact police via Live Chat at west-midlands.police.uk between 8am and midnight, or call 101 anytime.
