An open air adaptation of 'The Wind in the Willows' coming to Coventry's Assembly Festival Garden next month

PAPERBACK Theatre will be bringing its open-air adaptation of The Wind in the Willows to Assembly Festival Garden next month.

The performance will be at Coventry on July 23 and 24 and follows Mole, who has been stuck inside for too long and escapes.

Mole and friends Ratty, Badger and Toad blow away the quarantine cobwebs, where they face a motorcar and her majesty’s constabulary.

They will also have to try and save the day when they come up against Weasels, Ferrets and Stoats who have taken residence in Toad Hall.

Paperback Theatre will be touring in outdoor venues across the country after selling out Assembly Festival Gardens during the Coventry City of Culture last year.

Tickets cost £9 each and there will be performances at 1.30pm and 3.30pm on both days.
