A SINGER-songwriter who’s been described as a female Hozier will be taking to the stage in Coventry this weekend as part of her world tour.

Katey Brooks’ unique sound will ring across Fargo Village’s main hall on Sunday (July 17) afternoon amid praise from critics about her work.

The singer-songwriter has quickly become a radio favourite and has been hailed on BBC Radio One, Two and Six after featuring on tracks with Paloma Faith, Imelda May, The Rolling Stones, Brian May and Pink Floyd.

Having led a fascinating life with a vivid cast of characters, Brooks will be performing in Coventry after already performing in Europe, Australia and Canada this year.

She is currently completing her new album ‘We The People’ in the studio, which will feature the much loved new single I Fought Lovers.

Katey’s performance starts at 1pm in Fargo Village’s main hall, admission for the event is free.
