Balsall Common Lions set to carry out Foodbank collections this weekend

BALSALL Common Lions will be out in force this weekend collecting food to help families in the area.

The group and its band of volunteers will be carrying out door-to-door visits across the village for the Foodbank Collection on Saturday, January 15.

The volunteers will be working in adherence to Government guidelines and ask all donations are outside of properties by 11am.

Balsall Common Lions have been working closely with local foodbanks and will be supporting Hunger Awareness Month with its winter Foodbank collection.

Alternatively donations can be taken to one of several drop off points including the Co-op Car Park from 11am to 1pm on Saturday.
