A CHARITY based in Balsall Common has received a £1,000 grant from RBC Brewin.

The Lily Mae Foundation supports parents and families after a stillbirth, neonatal death, miscarriage or medical termination.

Wealth company RBC Brewin is marking the tenth anniversary of its community grants programms, which has seen it donate more than £310,000 to good causes across the UK.

The programme encourages the company’s employees to nominate charities to receive a grant, and these can be charities they are personally involved with, or which work to benefit the community in which they live.

It forms part of the company’s wider corporate giving strategy, which also encompasses fundraising, volunteering and employee payroll giving.

Rosie Richardson-Aitken, senior corporate responsibility manager, RBC Brewin Dolphin, said: “RBC Brewin Dolphin’s community grants programme endorses our aim of being at the heart of the communities in which we live and work, and forms part of the larger fabric of our corporate charitable giving.”
