Appeal after reported knifepoint robbery in Bedworth

AN APPEAL has been issued by police after a man was reportedly robbed at knifepoint in Bedworth underneath the A444 bridge.

The reported robbery took place at around 11pm on Sunday, January 14 while the man was walking along Newtown Road.

The victim was allegedly called over by a woman in distress.

But when he responded to her calls, three other men in balaclavas reportedly emerged and the woman fled.

One of the males then reportedly pulled out a knife and threatened the victim, before taking items from his pockets and all three ran off.
